Ivey Jenkins-Long

Certified Passive House Consultant
Project Manager
email: ivey (at) nugentcm.com

Ivey (she/her) comes to NugentCM LLC as a Certified Passive House Consultant with over twenty years of carpentry and woodworking experience and a deep-seated interest in sustainability. Her knowledge of the building world draws from professional work as a high end furniture maker, set builder, finish carpenter, and sound treatment specialist.

After completing a BA in Performance Studies in North Carolina, she moved to Brooklyn and founded Ivey Wood Designs LLC, which she successfully managed for 8 years out of her woodworking studio and completed a variety of projects throughout the city. Outside of the shop Ivey built out several music venues and sound studios, completed dozens of complex theatre sets, and built and installed cabinetry and custom furniture for high end clients as well as for friends.

The desire to focus solely on sustainability and large-scale, healthy and long-lasting projects brought Ivey to NugentCM and the Hudson Valley where she enjoys building Passive Houses with Ed, and spends her spare time gut renovating her own 1880’s home in Peekskill with reused materials and energy efficient building techniques.
